 Rachel has been saving her money for quite some time. She was trying to fill up a big pickle jar (advice from Dave Ramsey). She had almost $150 saved. Good job, Rachel! Your mom needs to take budgeting lessons from you!

Riding the Rails

Hermy decided to take a train ride. He rode on the engine for a little while then decided to ride in the boxcar because Rachel thinks he isn't hiding well enough.He is hidden very well. So far Erin Joy is the only one who has found him today. (Hopefully, Rachel doesn't check my blog.)

 We LOVE living in our little town. We really love the annual visit from the fire department and Santa Claus.

TPed the Christmas Tree

 We have a tradition of sleeping by the Christmas tree the first day of winter break.  The neighbor girls joined my girls for a little sleepover last night. This year, while the children slept, Hermy the elf decided to join the fun and TPed the Christmas tree.

The TP trail leads to our sneaky elf who is hiding in the corner.

The cat helped the elf. I hope the cat doesn't destroy the TPing job before the kids wake up!!

Ceiling Fan + Birthday Balloons = No Fun for Mom

My girls have learned to not turn on the ceiling fan when birthday balloons are floating around the room.

Erin Joy's Choir Concert

Erin Joy and her choir did an excellent job. Unfortunately, I was in the back of the gym with SEVERAL noisy adults and a few noisy kids. It is hard to hear the choir in the video, but easy to hear the people around me talking. I was a little annoyed. When you attend a concert, even a kids' concert, talking is NEVER appropriate. Sigh. Oh well. Here it is.....
