Hot Pot and Daffodils

 We were so excited to go to our friends' house to enjoy a Chinese Hot Pot for dinner. This is one of my favorite meals because it was one of the last meals I ate many years ago while serving a mission in Taiwan. It was not only delicious, it brought back great memories.

 And....look!!! Daffodils are now in bloom!!! I love it! I have never had flowers so early before. Crocuses and hyacinths in January, daffodils in February....I bet the tulips come in March. The tulip festival will definitely be early this year. I feel bad for people living in the eastern part of the United States....sorry about your nasty winter....we sure are enjoying our early spring in Western Washington!
