A wonderful young teenager friend came over today and gave us the gift of service. It was really sweet. She cleaned the bathroom and window sills for us.

Saying good-bye to Herman Joseph Cuckoo (Hermy), our scout elf from "Elf on the Shelf."  He always hides in the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve...He'll be back again next year...  Good-bye Hermy! The girls will miss you!

Putting out the magic key for Santa because we don't have a chimney...

Santa has arrived!! Silly Rachel woke up at about 1:30. It is 2:00 now and she wants to open presents. Argh!!! I told her to go back to bed and wait until at least 6:00.  She will now probably sleep until 9:00.
